Welcome to the house that my grandparents had dreamt of, making it a reality more than 50 years ago, thus becoming pioneers in this part of Santa Teresa neighborhood, in Tiradores quarter, perched on one of the many hills of this town which, as if some kind of Castilian Rome, always clustered on mountains, slopes and precipices.
While the citizens then massively left the old town, suspended upon a colossal limestone ridge, they, faithful to their highland spirit, settled on other less steep hillsides forming quarters with a nice popular taste, always facing the ancient Cuenca; my grandparents always wanted to look at it, so they built two big terraces which would always be first row in front of the medieval city.
A quiet place in a calm town
A short distance from the tourist heart, just enough to feel daily Cuenca, its leisurely pace, without going away from its magical attraction
Our concept of Lodgement in Cuenca
Travelling through the world we have always found interesting the idea of staying at a house or apartment which offered more than simply a room with a bed and a bathroom, which was some kind of occasional home. Thus, being also tireless travellers, we decided to share part of our family house in our beloved Cuenca with travellers from all the world, wishing that they can go back home with a good taste.
